FLAG FOOTBALL !

Several of our Clubs are offering a Flag Football program.

Check with the Club of your choice to see if they have a team and a place for your 5 or 6 year old to have more fun than you can imagine.

ATTENTION ALL MOMS AND DADS !!

NO COOKING ! NO DIRTY DISHES !

The Valley Youth Conference and some of its Clubs have entered into an agreement with a government sponsored program that will provide our kids with a USDA approved meal at the end of their practice session !

This is a TOTALLY FREE program ! No hassle, No hidden cost, No stress !

Check with your Club to see if they have signed up to take advantage of this opportunity. Ask them to show you a sample menu, you will be amazed at the balanced, healthy hot meals that
will be served to your kids.

ANNOUNCIING !!!!

We are very proud to announce the inclusion of three clubs into the VYC family.......

The Hawthorne Jaguars,

The Westside Wolfpack

The Mid City Ravens

We look forward to the competition and friendship they will be providing.

And we wish them great success.

SAD NEWS

Our new season begins with some very sad news. Two of our most prominent  members have passed away.

Mary Jaurez and Paul Napier are no longer with us and there are no words that can adequately express our feelings.

Mary and her husband, Santos, ran the Valley Falcons from its inception and provided the leadership that helped mold the VYC. Their dedication and untiring energy was a model for all of us.

Paul was a beacon of reason in the midst of turmoil. His presence in our meetings kept us on our toes. When Paul spoke people listened not only because of his mesmerizing voice but he always seemed to be right on target. His contribution to the Conference was invaluable. There are thousands of boys and hundreds of coaches who will remember him fondly and with great respect. As we all do.

They were each there from the beginning and without their contributions we would not be who we are today.

Rest in peace.
