 The Valley Youth Conference initiated its Hall Of Fame in 2004 to honor individuals whose extraordinary voluntary contributions were instrumental in developing and sustaining services to youth in the San Fernando Valley and beyond.

We proudly announce this year's inductees, who will be joining their predecessors in the Hall Of Fame for meritorious devotion and contribution.

Jerry Chandler - served1974 - 1991; championship coach; club representative; Conference General Manager 4 years; Conference Commissioner 6 years when 7 new clubs joined VYC

Lew Taylor - served 1972 - 1985; championship coach; division team Sportsmanship Award; club repre sentative; division president of two different levels ;Bantam All Star coach; (VYC Track & Field certified starter)

Manny Ferrer - served 1972 - 1998; founder San Fernando Braves; coach of several league & division

champions at various levels; Bantam All Star coach; several team division Sportsmanship Awards

Prior Hall Of Fame inductees are:

2004 - Joe Bergara, Willie Hoover and George Keener

2005 - Duane Gomer, Maury Hanks and Dave Hahn;
